Honey Glazed Salmon
INGREDIENTS:
4 (6 oz.) salmon fillets
½ tsp. kosher salt
½ tsp. black pepper
Pinch of blackening seasoning
GLAZE:
3 tbsp. butter
2 tsp. olive oil
5 garlic cloves, finely chopped
½ cup honey
2-3 tbsp. water
3 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. sriracha, to taste
2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
DIRECTIONS:
Pat the salmon dry with paper towels, and sprinkle evenly with salt, pepper, and blackening seasoning. In a large ovensafe skillet, melt butter with olive oil over medium-high heat. Add garlic and cook briefly until fragrant. Stir in honey, water, soy sauce, sriracha, and lemon juice, allowing the mixture to warm and combine. Add the salmon to the skillet, skin-side down (if applicable) and cook for about 3 minutes, basting frequently with the sauce. Transfer the skillet to the oven and broil for 5-6 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and the glaze is caramelized. Baste once more during broiling to enhance the flavor. Enjoy!
